Nathan Schmidt knows firsthand how transformational the right hire can be. While halfway through medical school, he began recruiting as a way to support himself — but quickly discovered a deeper calling. As he helped companies find the right talent, he saw the direct impact great people have on performance, culture, and growth.

After earning his medical degree, Nathan made the deliberate decision to pursue recruiting full-time — driven by a passion for building high-performing teams rather than practicing medicine. With roots in a family of dairy farmers and a natural appreciation for the products consumers rely on every day, Nathan found his focus in the food & beverage space within CPG. As he built relationships and delivered results, one thing became clear: truly dependable, strategic talent partners are rare. ProgressU Solutions was built to change that. Temporary & Temp-to-Perm

For those that need skilled labor temporarily or on a temporary-to-permanent basis.

×1.35–×1.50 markup on the hourly rate
520–1,040 hour temporary period before free conversion to permanent
$10,000 buyout fee to convert before the temporary period completes

Contingent Placement

For internal searches lasting more than 90 days or roles with low talent pools.

Contingent based on successful placement — no hire, no fee
Fee: 20%–25% of first-year compensation
Guarantee: 90–180 days
